The ABC Board is authorized to establish and maintain state stores for the sale of alcoholic beverages in Alabama (Ala. Code 28-3-43 [1975]). This series consists of two kinds of computer printouts, one by ABC Board code and one by store number, compiled monthly by the Data Processing Division to document store sales and inventories. Information found in the report by code includes ABC code number, sales and ending inventories by case and bottle, sales value at retail, cost, and ending inventory value. The report by store number provides information on store number, sales value, cost, beginning and ending inventories, and the value of merchandise shipped to stores during that month.
